I ____________________________, am requesting my unpublished novel be placed on the web site http://www.readthisnovel.com/ (here after "the site") for a time period at the discretion of the owners of the web site. I understand the manuscript I have submitted on disc remains mine and completely mine. I agree to allow the owners of the site to place the first chapter on the site for free viewing by the public, agents, publishers and anyone else who may access the site.
I hold blameless the owners of the site for any problems which arise. legal or illegal, from the use of my manuscript for the purpose of putting it on the site. It is my understanding readers may view the first chapter for free on the site and may also for a fixed price purchase a digital copy of the entire manuscript as I have submitted it. In return the owners of the site will make payments to me of a set percentage of the sales of the digital discs at either quarterly, semi-annually or annually based on the number of sales and what makes sense.
The basic fee for each disc shall be $7.99, which will cover shipping & handling, cost of goods as well as $1.50 per disc to the site owners and $2.50 per book sold payable to me. Site owners have the discretion to discontinue my work for sale on their site at any time and for any reason.
I may at any time withdraw my manuscript from the site by making a formal request in writing. At this point no more sales may be made except those which were placed before the owners of the site receive my formal communication. If I notify the site owners verbally they are under no obligation to remove my material from the site until they receive my formal written request.
In filling out the form below I honestly have rated my work as to the content nature so as to not endanger the owners of the site with any legal or illegal mishaps. I understand I may not submit works of non-fiction, photos, pictures (either drawn, painted or photographed), what might be judged as child pornography or anything else which might be considered illegal in any of the 50 United States. I also state here the work I am submitting is original work written by myself and although I may quote various sources the work itself is mine and not plagerized in any way.
I understand the decision whether to use or not use my material is strictly at the discretion of the owners of the site. By signing this document I agree to hereby adhere to all which is stated in it and I state as well I have made an honest effort to answer all questions truthfully and hold blameless the owners of the site and Brill Productions for any problems which may arise concerning my work and myself.
