About Us
 KC Kings Sportscards and Memorabilia is a retail store located in Ventura, CA and has been in existence for ten years. Owner, Bob Brill, is one of the most respected individuals in the hobby industry and has worked in an executive position at The Score Board, wrote a weekly column for Beckett.com for nine years and currently publishes TBR The Brill Report sometimes seen as the "hobby's watchdog." www.kckings.com/hobbynewsandfun.php
In his previous career Bob spent nearly 30 years in broadcast and print journalism and was the Los Angeles based West Coast Bureau Chief for the UPI Radio Network. He also wrote the very first sports collectibles column for the UPI Wire Service and carried by newspapers across the country. An award winning journalist, Bob has been in the hobby since he purchased his first pack of trading cards in 1959 on his 6th birthday. He became active in the business end of the hobby when he sold his personal collection in 1983 "to buy a new family car."
In 1996 Bob and his family opened KC Kings Sportscards (the "K" stand for Koufax and the "C" for Clemente as he chose to honor these two great players who are hobby icons. Neither has anything to do with the store but Bob always makes sure customers understand he's from Pittsburgh, PA and a Pirates and Steelers fan, not a Kansas City fan.
KC Kings specializes in new boxes and packs, vintage sportscards, signed memorabilia (over 200 autographed baseballs in stock all the time) and non-sports tobacco trading cards from the last century. KC Kings is also promotion driven with monthly drawings, contests, and exciting promotions going on all the time.
"We wanted KC Kings to be more than just a card store," said Bob. "We wanted it to be a place where you wanted to be to have fun, enjoy sports and enjoy the hobby. I think we've done that."

You can see the islands and the ocean from our store, just two miles from the beach and Number one in Ventura County! The only sportscard and collectibles store from Victoria Avenue to Santa Barbara.
Open 7 days a week, closed only on New Years Day, Easter, Christmas, Thankgiving and 1/2 day Super Bowl Sunday. Ask for Bob or Bryan.
 
We carry an extensive array of vintage commons and stars, with heavy emphasis on 1958-1979. We have vintage non-sports tobacco cards with many from Europe, especially during WWII. Graded cards and a full selection of current singles including memorabilia cards and autographs. We have a very high emphasis on rookie cards (RC). Baseball, football, basketball and we are a certified eTopps Store (one of only 20 in the nation).
We carry a full line of supplies including top loaders of all sizes, boxes and coin supplies.
Memorabilia: Over 200 signed baseballs in stock at all times, dozens of autographed bats, jerseys, Highland Mint, signed footballs, basketballs and loads of autographed memorabilia items with an emphasis on framed pieces using actual signed checks of the stars. If you are looking for the genuine article we have it.
Knowledgable help. Bob Brill has been a hobby professional for many years and is a respected journalist who began collecting in 1959. Bryan Alexander is one of the most knowledgable younger collecters in the hobby with a major emphasis on new cards. He has a keen eye for grading as well.
KC Kings is a promotion driven store with something going on all the time. The last Saturday of each month we hold a drawing where we give away over $200 in merchandise to lucky customers. We have a Frequent Buyer Program as well.
